Oneplus 3 Review

OnePlus 3 the newborn member of OnePlus family from a Chinese firm aiming to take on the big name among flagship phones Galaxy 7, i phone 6s, LG G5. Here is a full and depth review on Oneplus 3.

Design and Build

Compared to other OnePlus member this appears in a much more slender look 7.35mm and more manageable weight of 158.  Metal uni- body chassis machined from a single Aluminum block makes it unique from other OnePlus products and feels extremely premium and resemblance to other metal phones such as Apple, HTC, Huawei etc.
Anteriorly 2.5D Gorilla glass 4 meets the metal chassis in a smooth and luxuriously flush away. A greepy texture surface on left Alter slider facilitates a solid satisfy motion.
Initially metallic texture would only appear in graphite silver but there will be soft gold option soon.  If there is any who may dislike the metallic texture or you may want to protect it from scratches you can follow usual ranges of cases Rosewood, Black Apricot, Bamboo, Karbon and the classic Sandstone which are extremely thin and do not add much weight.
As the firm's best product, this impresses us with its terms of well design and built. It is a kind of a tall phone comparatively with tiny bezels on either side of screen. Perhaps a smaller version can be expected as OnePlus 3 mini or as New OnePlus X in near future.

Hardware Specs and Performances

Oneplus 3 has struck with both 5.5 in screen size and Full HD resolution. According to the information from the firm there is no difference in phone's resolution compared to Quad HD. Also resolution will help in thinks like performance and battery life.
OnePlus is a SUPER AMOLED in terms of Optic AMOLED technology which looks better thanks to more vibrant colors and better contrast levels and also is what allows the phone to have those small bezels.
We can particularly understand the choice from the view of performance as the GPU has only small work to do rendering the interface so it feels slicker in use.
Thus, the presence of dual-polarizing layer a better view can be obtained even under the bright sunlight.

OnePlus 3 processor, RAM and benchmark tests.

OnePlus 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, compared to the OnePlus 2 uses the 810. The quad-core chip configuration built with the Adreno 530 GPU and is clocked little bit higher than other smart devices at 2.2GHz – the other two cores are 1.6GHz.
The OnePlus 3 comes with a slightly insane 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. That's a full 2GB, or 50 percent, compared to the rivals.
In both benchmark results and real life, the OnePlus 3 offers you tremendously slick powerful functionality with performance.
Moreover, this would work according to your speed without any hesitations as it is extremely responsive and fast.

OnePlus 3 storage

The most magnificent feature in this model that it bears a capacity of 64GB or nothing at all.
That's a huge value considering the price where rivals tend to starts at 32GB or even 16GB.

OnePlus 3 fingerprint scanner and connectivity

The fingerprint scanner stands as a primary feature and placed at the bottom of the screen as usual. The fingerprint with a golden rim around it is extremely fast and accurate when scanning and can be used to unlock the device from sleep mode and online purchases including Android Pay.
One of the most interesting news to the OnePlus fans, this device can be used for a series of various tasks including Android Beam for sharing content, quick pairing and searching for Bluetooth devices which comes with NFC and online payments.
Also it has capability of connecting with 4G LTE (Cat 6), 11ac Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth same as rivals. Although there's no expandable storage, the OnePlus 3 comes with dual-SIM compatibility along with perfectly designed two Nano-SIM slots.

OnePlus 3 battery life

The OnePlus 3 has a slightly smaller battery capacity of 3000mAh (down from 3300mAh) is all unmatched with its size. But it has capability of charging fast and the battery is non-removable. OnePlus touts over 60 percent in 30 minutes which means you can fill the battery level to the maximum within a small time period.
As usual, the phone has a reversible USB Type-C port and is given with a new portable Dash charger which provides an output of 5V and 4A.
The interesting part of this is that it has moved the power management controller to the charger instead of housing it in the phone. Due to this facility provided the phone remain to keep cool while charging so you can watch movies or play games while it is connected to the charger. To avoid any mishaps, when a different charger or cable is connected the charging speed automatically turns down to regular speed.
In our test the OnePlus 3 charged a total of 61 percent within 28 minutes, but the only problem is the surface of the device become little bit warm despite when having a case on during the charging process.

OnePlus 3 camera.

Going by specs alone, the most exciting facility is OnePlus 3’s main camera. It has a 16Mp Sony IMX298 sensor and a lens with an f/2.0 aperture. There’s optical image stabilization (OIS), electronic image stabilization (EIS) detects phase and focus automatically.
OnePlus claims the camera will give you the ability capture clear shots with a shutter speed of 0.2 seconds, so you’ll easily catch images of moving objects quickly. JPEG as well as Raw files can be obtained using a new manual mode and if you want to get the whole control of the ISO, shutter shooting speed and focus.

The rear primary camera has the ability to 4K video recording, but while there’s OIS for photos, but this doesn't appear for video which depends on EIS. It’s really effective if you stand for it, but start moving while watching the device around and you’ll see its limitations and disadvantages soon. 4K has a very high video quality sharp and packed with detail. The only problem exists is the soundtrack. Voices when heard feel like distant and muffled, as through the water – this would be a failure of dual microphones used for noise cancellation. But this is not a big issue, this can be fixed via a new software update in the future.
Extra modes consist of a full view panorama function which make it fine with the variations of brightness and lighting across a scene, and a slow-motion mode which can record at 720p.
The front secondary camera is an 8Mp with 1.4um pixels and moreover selfies would become higher with the quality than you expected. A Smile detection Capture option comfort you without letting you stretching for pressing the shutter button.

Software and apps

OnePlus provides its Oxygen OS which is a very close to stock Android with a few different features and ways to customize the interface.
The software update fixes bugs and improvements such as RGB mode in developer options, RAM managing efficiency, improved audio playback effects and camera quality and easy functionality.
For starters, it's nice to see OnePlus hasn't got a below level compared to the list of other rivals by keeping the app draw/menu. When you open it you'll notice that there is no bloat-ware installed in your phone.
The existing features in rivals such as the dark mode, an accent color for the nice themes, customizable LED pop-up notifications and the Shelf  menu features which is swiped away from the home screen are the common features of this amazing device. Shelf lets you to get robust access and switching between things like applications, contacts and other information you will also add widgets like you are adding app icons and widgets on the home screen. If you need, you can change the Shelf off completely.

Either side of the fingerprint scanner, you will be able to see two capacitive buttons, this is same as the Galaxy S7 but the buttons can be chosen in order to your own will-which one should be the back button or the button for recent apps. Additionally you will be able to choose shortcuts through long presses on app icons. Furthermore, you can use onscreen buttons if you really want.

 Our conclusion.

This has become Chinese bestselling smartphones due to its well design and built. It has become bit more expensive than its predecessors due to its design, storage, memory, hardware and due to other magnificent facilities that are provided.

If there are any dislikes any negative feedbacks it will be due lack of waterproofing, less battery capacity and may be due to the expandable storage.
