Release date and price.

Currently we don’t have any update regarding the release date and price of Lenovo P2. We expect the device will cost between $280 and $340, and will be released in November 2016.

 Design and build quality.

Lenovo P2 is perfectly built and packaged on an aluminum frame on the front and rear side. You will see a vibrant and colorful 5.5-inch display on it. On the front you can see navigation buttons with an embedded bio-metric sensor that is depending on the pressure that you are applying on it. Not only that, it also assist you with multitasking.
USB 2.0 port is placed at the bottom center of the lower surface of the device, speaker and microphone are placed on the either sides of the USB 2.0.
This device is really premium because it will not exceed 8.5 mm of its thickness. But this is not confirmed yet.

Camera.

The primary camera includes a 13MP Sony sensor and LED flash, similarly like in Sony you will see an NFC symbol notifying the location of chip. The happiest thing is the aluminum back covering will not make any problem with fingerprints. The secondary camera includes a 5MP sensor to capture solid selfies. With respect to the innovative build and design, Lenovo P2 will be a major player in the smart device market and will stay around the best mobiles on the top list.

 Display

Lenovo has added a Full HD 5.5-inch screen to P2. This is similar to the AMOLED technology of Moto Z Play and it will assist hardware with further optimizations. AMOLED technology is configured to not to emit light from LEDs when the screen is black and it will save lots of energy. We think that Lenovo has much worried about reducing power and energy consumptions. These arrangements and higher battery capacity are the exact proofs for that.

Software

Lenovo has confirmed that P2 will come out from the factory with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, while the first Android 7.0 Nougat device is the LG V20 smartphone. Furthermore, unlike other manufacturers, Lenovo develops and strongly modifies new Android version that are recently released by Google and offers a vast extent of unique and common features within a single interface for their devices. Thus, the software update release date is not confirmed yet, but it will not take longer to adapt Android Nougat to it.
Additionally, Lenovo has a number of their own apps which comes along with the system. We have to wait and see, what are the altered features and new additions.

Performance

Lenovo P2 is powered with a Snapdragon 625 processor and it is clocked setter to 2 GHz. This configuration is similar to the Motorola Moto Z Play. The system also consist of 4 GB of RAM and two internal storage options: 32GB or 64 GB. In the other hand, Lenovo P2 with these configurations is an icebreaker.
During testing the demo version, we identified some lagging. However we will need much more time for in-depth analysis of the device.
As per the technical specifications, the Lenovo P2 has acquired a plenty of good reviews.

Battery

Battery capacity of the device really drags our attention to the Lenovo P2. Lenovo has made up it with a 5100mAh battery. When considering the battery life, there were manufacturers with several interesting names, especially the Motorola. Earlier in his year it was Moto Maxx, elected for the best endurance ratings.
Anyhow, none of those android mobiles will compete with the elegance of the great Lenovo P2 regarding enhanced consumption and saving features. Lenovo has introduced a key on the left side of P2 to switch advanced battery saving mode and they have named it as “Ultimate Power Saver”.

Our Verdict

Are you looking for a smartphone that can play longer on your hand without plugging in a charging adapter? Lenovo P2 brings you an answer with a legend of rocking specifications.
